About Fabelhaft
Fabelhaft is our home in Kentville, Nova Scotia, and our Maine Coons share it with us.
Fabelhaft means fabulous in German, and that is what we look for in every cat we breed: strength and structure, a quick mind, sound genetic health, and the refined type that makes a Maine Coon unmistakable.
More than anything, we want our kittens to grow into confident, gentle companions. The cat that climbs into your lap at the end of the day is the one we are breeding for.
We came to Maine Coons with a long history behind us. We started with Himalayans in 1998 and have spent decades in several feline associations since, so we do our homework and hold every kitten we place to a high standard.
Ours is a closed cattery, which means our cats do not travel to shows. We made that choice to protect their health, and it leaves us free to put our time into the cats themselves.
